Stadium most unique in all respect. Cricket lovers paradise and MUST visit during your trip to Melbourne city. I was fortunate to see India VS South Africa World Cup Match and in the end result was in favor of Team India.

Great footy match between geelong Vs Richmond. Its just a walking distance from Flinder street station or richmond station.

This was a once in a lifetime experience to see a passionate crowd of 87,000 cricket fans in the Mecca of all cricket stadiums. There was nothing to dislike :-)

The museum and stadium tour is well worth the time and money. Strange to learn that the MCG attract more Aussie Footy fans than cricket fans Even though Eng lost embarrassingly to Aus in the opening match of the ICC World Cup it didn't spoil the excitement of the big match atmosphere. Or spoil our day (too much).

Ok, we all know what an awesome place the MCG is and as a huge cricket fan it is a Mecca to me. My husband and I went to see Australia V England at the MCG for the ICC world cricket cup and the MCG did not fail to impress. I had not been to a cricket match for about 30yrs (took me that long to convince hubby it would be great), so the MCG had changed greatly. Look just go there. Be it for a footy, cricket or some other sporting event, or just a tour around, it really is great. The staff were wonderful when we were there. With nearly 90,000 people we still managed to find someone to help us to our seats and all the staff we had dealings with were wonderful. Even getting into the ground was easy and well organised. For me the MCG is the jewel in the crown that is Melbourne. Take a visit especially if you have not been there for a while
